Permaculture-based Eco Living and Garden Store

Urban Revolution is a bricks-and-mortar store in an inner city suburb in Perth, and an online store shipping Australia-wide. We believe that nourishing the soil, growing food, composting, replacing plastics and choosing better materials for everyday products are all things we can do individually to have a positive global impact and change our environmental legacy. Everything we do comes from a permaculture lens.

We are passionate about education, and we run many workshops, presentations and community events. We educate on the importance of removing organic waste from landfill, composting, and planting trees. Also on solutions and ideas to enjoy an environmentally sustainable existence in an urban environment.

Our garden products include local heirloom and open pollinated seeds, veggie growing tools, organic soil inputs, composting tools, natural pest management, products to support biodiversity and a range of niche permaculture tools.

Our eco living products include plastic-free containers and coffee cups, natural cleaning ingredients, low tox laundry and dishwashing soaps, locally made soaps, candles and more.

Local economy is deeply important to us and we stock products from many local manufacturers, artisans and makers. Plus permaculture books from local thinkers.

We’re set up as a social enterprise, and all income goes back into supporting our mission to empower sustainable lives in our community. Visiting our store is a connected, personal experience, and we offer advice and education on all of our products and beyond. We publish a range of articles and resources on our website, and connect people with Perth permaculture designers and course providers.
