Permacoach
We often provide courses in the alternative economy, where students trade help in the garden for learning and pay nothing. This makes permaculture courses more widely available to people on the NSW Central Coast, many of whom are financially disadvantaged.
Description
Permaculture at your place
Permacoach is run by Meg McGowan and Graham King. They are based on the NSW Central Coast.
We offer courses from our home in Matcham NSW including permaculture design fundamentals and a permaculture design course. Most of our courses are offered under our ‘permashare’ model, where students exchange work in our garden for their learning. This makes permaculture available to those that cannot afford a paid course. We also offer paid courses from time to time, subject to demand. We only teach students from our local area as part of our commitment to Earth Care and People Care and we encourage everyone to learn permaculture in their own bioregion if that is at all possible.
Our trademarked Permacoach model provides one-on-one permaculture coaching to people on their own properties, meeting them wherever they are on their permaculture spiral and helping them to evolve. We can provide a single coaching session to get you started, or a series of coaching sessions. We can also help you to implement your own permaculture design, or one prepared by a professional permaculture designer.
Meg also writes the popular "Smarter Than Crows" permaculture themed blog on Wordpress.
