Design School for Regenerating Earth
Description
The Design School for Regenerating Earth is a global online learning community organising around bioregions — holistic, integrated landscapes — and connecting them into a planetary network of learning exchanges.
Founded on Joe Brewer’s book The Design Pathway for Regenerating Earth, the school blends theory and practice: members learn and apply skills directly to the work of organising on the ground in their own landscapes, while sharing what they learn across the wider network.
Membership includes:
Online learning journeys and courses geared toward applying knowledge and skills to earth regeneration work in your bioregion.
Access to the Bioregional Learning Exchange, with live sessions and a dedicated space for sharing updates, stories and events across bioregions.
The opportunity to join or host Place-Based Hubs — nested scales of organising from watersheds and landscapes through to bioregional and sub-continental scales.
Pathways to participate in bioregional activations, immersions and other place-based activities.
The opportunity to host member-led activities and spaces in the school — guilds, workgroups, design labs, themed dialogues and courses.
Connection and collaboration with peers from around the world.
Cost: Membership is contribution-based, with monthly, annual (18% discount) and lifetime options. All contribution levels receive the same access. Contributions go into a fund circulated back to members to support their organising efforts. A scholarship fund is available for those who cannot afford the membership dues, and a Pay-It-Forward option supports others to join.
