George is a new member of Permaculture Australia with Ordinary Membership. He lives in Gunderman, NSW and when asked how has permaculture influenced your life, says “It has changed the way I looking at everything”. After doing an Into to Permaculture course in 2015, George felt he needed more detail so in 2017 completed his PDC, also at Permaculture Sydney Institute.
What permaculture activities have you been up to lately?
Working on my own site – One Tree Permaculture over looking the beautiful Hawkesbury River. This is a veggie cage built on a terrace to keep the locals out:
I recently attended a Permablitz at Permaculture Sydney Institute and am helping at my sisters place – Elaringai Permaculture, at Farley in the Hunter Valley.
I also recently (in August) helped to found Permaculture Two Rivers to foster communication and share information on permaculture from The Upper McDonald, and along the Hawkesbury River to Spencer. Lastly, I am also writing a book on Steep Site Permaculture!
