VolunteerOverseas2Red Cross is seeking a Permaculture Officer and two Horticulture Officers to support our work in Africa, and I was hoping for your advice in this matter.

Permaculture Officer: Uganda

Help subsistence farmers in a beautiful Ugandan village to set up greenhouse gardens, using permaculture techniques to ensure a sustainable, organic and community-owned food supply.

Horticulture & Food Security Officer: Botswana

Work with Red Cross on a food security strategy to help communities reduce their reliance on rain cycles. You will explore the use of greenhouses and other agro-technologies to support sustainable food production.

Horticulture Officer: Kenya

Interested in sustainable food production and community gardening? Then head to Kenya to work on a greenhouse program that will improve food security. You will train Red Cross volunteers in basic horticulture, establish crop cycles and trial organic gardening methods.
While they are volunteer roles, we do cover travel, accommodation and living costs, as well as health and security support.

We are seeking a part-time Education Coordinator to join the Northey St City Farm Community.

In this dynamic and exciting role, you will be responsible for the overall coordination, leadership and delivery our well-known and respected education program (which includes the Permaculture Design Course, the Sustainabile Living Workshop Program and the Farm Tours & Activity Program).

You will be a member of the Information Team and will work closely with members of the Information Team, Farming Team and Events Team.
