MORE INFO...

The Green Thumb Internship commences with the Growing Abundance Year-round course. This course will focus on vegetable and herb production and covers  most aspects of vegetable and herb production as well as field visits to commercial Permaculture market gardens. The internship follows on with practical implementation projects at Djanbung gardens of the skills which you have learned in the Growing abundance course. Seasonal activities involve the growing of the winter vegetables in the subtropics, (the equivalent of the summer vegetables in a temperate climate), and also some unusual vegetables. We will also be harvesting the summer crops. The Internship will involve participation in the daily activities of Djanbung Gardens and activities may vary in response to weather, and unique conditions. Other special events include making simple bamboo garden structures, being involved in the artisan workshop for lost and forgotten arts, and helping out with special events.

The trainers are Robyn Francis, Melian Fertl and Angela Skehan.
