Permafund supports a 'train-the-trainer' in Sumatra

Field Farmers Association, Sumatra, Indonesia received a 2012 Permafund grant of $ 500 to support for a 'train-the-trainer course for leader farmers and volunteer extension workers for a Sumatran farmer’s association.

Farmer Field Schools are short course trainings for farmers.   They are usually held on farms or nearby and are presented as a technique that encourages peer exchange and practical learning.
