Please read grant guidelines carefully before completing the application form.
1. Amount thresholds
Permaculture International Public Fund (Permafund) grants are available for amounts up to AUD $1000.
2. Grants must demonstrate how they meet the Ethics and apply the Principles of Permaculture
3. Indicators to assess successful outcomes may include
- Production/utilisation of a diverse range of permaculture strategies to improve food security and community welfare & resilience
- Maintenance or improvement of soil fertility
- Survival or development of crops
- Improvement in diversity of species
- Success at seed-saving of local indigenous species
- Micro-enterprise successfully established
- Improved resilience of population
- Education program completed and learning adopted.
4. Monitoring
If the project or activity supported by Permafund exceeds 6 months the applicant must provide PIL with a monitoring report at the end of each 6 month period and will include:
- financial statement itemising expenditure of PIL funds
- brief narrative report describing the progress of the project supported by these funds and outcomes achieved thus far
- photos of the project if available.
If activity is shorter than 6 months you will provide these details at the completion of project.
5. Feedback report
Feedback report is required on Project success and achievement of outcomes including:
- financial statement itemising expenditure of PIL funds
- brief narrative report describing the steps of the project, and the outcomes supported by these funds
- photos of the project if available.
This information will be used for promoting Permaculture projects and outcomes on the Permaculture Australia website and related media as determined by Permaculture Australia.
